With the increased life span, Clinical Gerontology and Geropsychology is a rapidly developing field.” The courses include: Multicultural Aspects of Aging, Psychology of Death and Dying, Public Policy and Aging, Cognitive and Neuropsychological Asssessment.

Additionally, EIPS has a new Masters of Arts(MA) in psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT )and in Licensed Professional Counseling(LPC). In California the MFT and LPC programs fulfil the requirements to sit for licensure.
