The practicum lasts two quarters (approximately six months.) After the MA degree, the students go onto a LPCC Internship. The internship takes place at a non-profit agency. After obtaining 3000 hours of supervision, the student can apply for licensure. When licensed, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor can practice independently.
